Since I was a child I felt passion about skyscrapers. I remember myself drawing my own buildings on a paper when I was supposed to be playing in the street with my friends. I enjoyed the few pictures of skyscrapers I could see on newspapers and books. With no Internet it was difficult to access that kind of information, so I trusted in every little article I read or hear in media. Each picture was so important to me.

That was during the end 80s and begining 90s; by then, two cities were the king: New York and Chicago. Their buildings inspired me love, specially the Twin Towers and the Sears Tower. In mid 90s I had the chance to travel to NYC with my family for three times. I visited the old World Trade Center and the Empire State Building. That was a dream come true for me. One day we entered a bookstore near Central Park, in the 5th Ave, and around all those books I found one about the Empire State Building and another about the Chrystler Building. They were paper models! I bought both and, once in my home, I made them. That was the first time I assembled a building made of paper.

During the next years I did not make any other models but my love for skyscrapers stayed intact. And now, after 20 years, here I am again, making paper models. But now, I am the one who choose the model I want to see, I design it, I assemble it and I share it with you.
